Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
At The Alliance of Hope Behavioral Health Services, we know recovery looks different for everyone. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers structured, professional care for individuals who need more than weekly therapy but do not require inpatient treatment. With flexible scheduling, evidence-based therapy, and a supportive care team, IOP allows you to receive treatment while maintaining your daily responsibilities at home, work, or school.
What is IOP?
Our IOP is a structured treatment program designed for adults and adolescents who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use concerns, or other mental health challenges. Sessions are held 3 days a week, 3 hours per day, combining group therapy, individual counseling, education, and skill-building to support lasting recovery.
Individual, Family, and Group Therapy
We offer both Individual, Family, and Group Therapy sessions conducted by licensed therapists. These sessions utilize evidence-based approaches to help clients manage their mental health and substance abuse issues.
Types of Therapy:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Focuses on changing negative thought patterns and behaviors.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Helps individuals manage emotions and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
- Motivational Interviewing: Encourages clients to find their own motivation for making positive changes.
Substance Abuse Counseling
Our specialized substance abuse counseling services address the unique needs of individuals struggling with addiction. We provide support through every stage of recovery, from detoxification to long-term sobriety.

Georgia offers a statewide toll-free call center staffed by professionals for consumers to be linked to resources. The call center operates 24/7 and has the capacity to screen and assess callers for intensity of service response.
Crisis Intervention
We provide immediate support and intervention for individuals experiencing mental health crises. Our trained staff are equipped to handle emergencies and provide the necessary care to stabilize clients.
Crisis Services:
- 1. 24/7 crisis hotline.
- 2. In-person crisis assessment and intervention.
- 3. Development of safety plans and follow-up care.

Medication Management
Our licensed medical professionals oversee the prescription and management of medications for mental health and substance abuse treatment. We ensure that clients receive the appropriate medications and monitor their effects.

Understanding Our Approach
We value each consumer, treating them with respect and dignity. Individuals referred to us for services are carefully screened for eligibility and needs. A specialized plan based on the consumer’s choices and evidence-based treatment options is created. Services may be provided on-site, in the community (home) or via telehealth (virtually).
